Our business started with a need to provide Australia’s building industry with a solution and quickly grew into a successful business operation which meets the ever-changing needs of the building, construction and renovation sectors.

Before starting GOOP Surface Protection, owners Shane and Kirstee worked within the building and construction industry, allowing them both to see first-hand the costly damage being done to expensive household surfaces (windows, window frames, bath tubs, benchtops and flooring).

After researching the problem, they realised that across Australia, millions of dollars of damage was being done to homes annually.

They knew that scratched and/or damaged surfaces required repairing or even complete replacement, which is extremely expensive and time consuming. This causes a lot of stress for the builders, as well as being very, very frustrating for home owners.

GOOP’s owners committed time, money and resources to design, develop and manufacture a range of temporary coatings which protected these valuable surfaces during the build, renovation and construction process.

Our team strive to provide reliable products which allow building projects to be delivered on time and on budget without costly delays to handover.
